My expectations to learn Spanish were merely aspirations, yet upon meeting my professora, and engaging in the real learning that she employed I progressed far beyond my expectations. Marcella is a wonderful patient, sweet and very talented teacher. She guided me through the vocabulary, encouraged me to interact in her beloved Mendoza, and shared her thoughts of life in Argentina and the globe. She is very special to me, and should anyone be fortunate enough to call her their professora, they will be enlightened, become learned, and certainly be fortunate to include a special person into their life.

I am pleased to recommend Marcela Bonzini. She came highly recommended to us through a channel of friends. We were not disappointed. We started with 2 weeks and soon increased that to 7 weeks. We had a basic understanding of Spanish, having studied in small group lessons in Costa Rica. However, we wanted lessons that would be more focused to our needs and therefore opted for semi-private lessons. From the moment we met Marcela she spoke only Spanish to us, occasionally providing the English word. She spoke slowly and clearly. She was perceptive to our needs and adjusted her lessons as required. She repeated and patiently corrected us as we spoke. I felt comfortable and safe expressing myself without fear of criticism. We progressed more rapidly in private lessons with her than we ever had in group lessons. Not only did Marcela teach us Spanish, she taught us about Argentine culture, shared her mate with us, and took some time to go on outings in the area with us which gave us the opportunity to practice the language outside of class. It was a wonderful and memorable experience which I would gladly repeat.
